Hey Guys,
Just wanted to give a quick review for a Toyota shop in the area. I bought my cruiser back in Jan for $2000, needed work, leaked all types of fluids everywhere. When he first saw the truck he told me to sell it because it wasn't worth fixing (I think he said this because a college kid normally doesn't drop $3k into a car they just bought, but I knew what I was getting into and I have a Lexus tech for a roommate so no worries
)
I took my cruiser to him back in Feb. to get my power steering system redone. The PO did a real ghetto job of routing the high pressure PS lines and ended up destroying them. PS system was replaced.
Phil is a real stand up guy and LC nut. When I first pulled up to the shop there was two LX450s in the parking lot so I felt like I was at the right spot. He has a few 40s rusting away somewhere, the waiting area only has pictures of LCs on the wall. For maintenance work that you don't want to perform or don't know how I would take your truck here. Shop labor hour I believe is $92, I can check on that it may be more. I was quoted $1500 for an axle job which is kinda expensive and what a dealer would normally charge, but that was taken care of at the house.
