Thought I would share my PHH install experience. I purchases the "PHH Kit" from Houston FZJ80 and used Rick Bigelow's writeup in Slee's website. I planned for an all day cursing session after reading several threads regarding this nightmare project. Actually, the job was completed start to finish in just over 2 hours, thanks to Mr. Bigelow's step by step instructions. The biggest PIA was removing the spring clamp on the block niple (the freaking clamp tabs were facing the rear of the engine and I had to rotate clamp around to grasp the tabs with channel locks).
I highly recommend Houston's kit and Rick's writeup for those of you that have not tackled this job. Thanks!
 
The easiest way I found to remove those was using some long sturdy wire. Take a big piece and run it through the eye of the pin so you have both ends of the wire outside the body. Give it a few tugs and it will come out with ease.

I think he was speaking of the inside pinch clamp.

I just did mine with "houston fzj80's" replacement part. My 97 has 94k on it and the old phh was in good shape, but it's nice to not worry about it. Plus, doing that job in the middle of nowhere would be a real pita.
