On Friday, some of my Jeep buddies reached out and invited me to be their token YODA guy with them on the Peters Mill Run & Tasker Gap OHV Trail Complex in the George Washington National Forest, Virginia. Daily Operator's Permits are purchased for $5.00. The Peters Mill Run #433 is the 4x4 trail.

Apparently this is a trail a lot of new to the sport Jeepers take their ne rides on to build confidence.

I was the only YODA on the trail other than a 4th Gen 4Runner.

It was a day on the trail for the boys...but one of the boys was still in diapers so the 470 is now the most expensive changing table known to man...

Little John really liked the carpeted tailgate and so did his Dad, Jakob as his Jeep was jammed with a cooler and John's off-road high chair.

Super trail for the newb for sure. The Peters Mill Run #433 was a wide trail so no bush whacking took place. There are some very good semi-technical areas that really would be great for someone getting his/her 4x4 legs under them. It looks as though if things got wet, traction could make it harder to navigate but, all in all, great stuff.

My 470 ran low range, in 1st -3rd gear with the AHC in high mode all day. There was only one area where I locked the center diff after a Jeep in our group got hung up in some good sized rocks during a climb. I took a wider line on the climb and never slipped a wheel. These YODA rigs sure widen people's eyes when they go where their Jeeps do with significantly more luxury and interior space.

We started at the top end of the trail off SR758 and worked our way up and over the mountain down to the Edinburg Gap Parking Lot to air back up.

Completed air-down and adjusting AHC prior to take-off. Great location for confidence building for sure...

Cheers mate,
