Pertronix won't fit

Ordered a Pertronix electronic ignition and tried to install it but I can't see how it will fit in the distributor. Seems to be the wrong part, I called Pertronix twice to verify the PN based on the distributor PN prior to placing the order, but as I say I can't see how this will install. The holes just don't line up.

Normally they utilize one screw and a pin to hold them in, kinda like the points. Rarely you will have to modify things. I think there is a problem with the application, unless heavy mods are req'd to install that particular model.

I know this doesnt help, but I installed a Mallory unilite on my 40 and it was worth it.

Update, bought the wrong part, returned said part and am awaiting new part. This kinda stuff keeps you on the edge of your seat...doesn't it?
