Is anyone running a Pertronix electronic ignition conversion system?
Planning to convert from the pre-historic points and condenser ignition.
Trying to find out for sure which model is for a FJ70 with 3F engine. I have heard people say the 1662, but I have also heard others say 1665A.
Or can anyone recommend another good system to convert to electronic ignition?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I Installed a Pertronix ignition on my 1973 F engine when I rebuilt it 10,000 miles ago. It took me 7 years to get 10,000 miles as my '73 40 is built up for trails and is not my daily driver. I just changed plugs, cap, and rotor for the first time since the rebuilt. ALL where almost perfect with minimum ware. I changed all parts just because of the age. Prior to the Pertronix I would constantly be tuning and adjusting points, fouled plugs, etc. It starts easily every time. Sweet!

I'll take that as a recommendation for Pertronix! Thanks.
