Been browsing around youtube looking for Cruiser clips and what not

Is this the kind of performance we can expect to get from these 200 series cruisers ?

YouTube - Off-Road, LX570, Lexus 2008.

At that speed it will take you an hour just to go 10 miles. I remember in my childhood in our cruisers we used to fly pretty quick through the desert. I wonder why she's going so slow, odd

This looks like a track set up for Crawl Control demonstration or something. With it on, the vehicle does move slowly. It wouldn't need to be used for this track, that could easily be negotiated manually.

Possibly. I'm gonna get one of the land cruisers though. Just got to wait a bit more.

What I'm waiting for is reports on the front diff. What are the specs on this device? Like the 100; where u can break one in ur drive way?

...

I don't know anything about the 100, but the specs on the 200's front diff are:

Type SD22A
Gear ratio: 3.909
Ring gear size: 8.7 in / 220 mm
Oil capacity: 2.0 US quarts / 1.9L
Oil type: API GL-5, 75W-85
Weight 74.3 lb / 33.7kg

Other tidbits:
The front differential carrier, front differential cross shaft bearing retainer and differential extension flange tube on the front differential are made of aluminum to reduce their weight.

A double row bearing is used for the front differential case bearing to reduce friction loss, thus improving fuel consumption.
