Greetings All,

I don’t endorse businesses until I’ve conducted several major transactions.

I am a mechanical engineer, motorsports enthusiast, and extremely process/detail oriented.

For 200 Series Land Cruiser owners in proximity to Memphis TN, I recommend Penske/Wolfchase Toyota in Cordova TN. They’ve maintained my daily driver LCHE every 5k miles.

Service professionals matter: I wholeheartedly endorse Mr. Ben Leonard (service professional) as he is a trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable about the LC200 Series. If Mr. Leonard leaves Penske I’ll likely take my LCHE to wherever Toyota dealership he works.

The Toyota Land Cruiser master technician (he can chime in if he chooses to share his name) who works on my vehicles is outstanding—to put it mildly as I always double check the work on my home garage lift.

My reasonably priced 60k major service consisted of the entirety of OEM recommended services including additional services:

-Pennzoil Full Synthetic UP 0w/20 oil which I prefer for my oil change regardless of cost
-I run an AEM Dryflow air filter and K&N cabin filter (self maintained)
-Toyota Transmission Fluid Exchange
-Toyota Cooling System Fluid Exchange
-Toyota Power Steering Fluid Exchange
-Toyota Brake Fluid Exchange
-Toyota Transfer case and F/R differential fluid replacement
-Aftermarket BG Fuel/Air Induction, Engine, Oil System, and Ethanol Treatments (I’ve had BG service done on my vintage cars/trucks and modern gas vehicles. It makes a difference in vehicle performance to me).

NOTE1: My windshield is being replaced by this dealer with 100% OEM parts by a professional (I’ll share my experience).
NOTE2: I do not quote price as quality matters to me, each dealer sets price, and I receive a military/law enforcement discount.
NOTE3: My HE was used, but the previous owner serviced every 5k miles from new at Hendrick/Sandy Springs Toyota in GA and was every bit as detail oriented as I.
NOTE4: I am not biased in favor of Toyota as I appreciate well engineered vehicles of all marques and like to maintain them well.

Hopefully this is helpful to those seeking great service professionals and trustworthy OEM dealer. I have no financial interest in this dealership, and only wish to recognize good service—through the lens of an owner.

Happy Good Friday and Easter to All!

I am a dealership tech, and I always appreciate hearing of good service

@njbrain
You are welcome. To me an excellent tech is not only highly competent, but has impeccable integrity.

On several occasions my Toyota service technician at Penske/Wolfchase Toyota in Cordova TN has pointed out when certain services were not needed at the time, and has also taken the time to identify potential issues that weren’t part of the standard service schedule.

For any Toyota dealership professional viewing this—I will state, integrity is where you earn customer loyalty over time.

Great service ultimately leads to customer loyalty and profit in this market space.

NOTE: Much respect to you and the outstanding Toyota service professionals who read this message.
