Is anyone using Pennzoil Platinum? Getting my oil changed tomorrow and thinking about using it instead of Mobil 1. This is my first oil change since I bought the car and I am not really sure what is already in it. Any recommendations?

I recommend Mobil 1 full synthetic and a Mobil 1 filter. I'm running the larger M1-209 filter. Planning on 10,000 mi. change intervals. Good feedback from oil analysis with the 4.7 and Mobil 1.

I changed it with Penn. Platinum this last weekend. My buddy that manages a NTB owed me a favor and they only carry Pennzoil products. Seems to be running real good, but then again, it ran pretty good before. Plus, I read that Mobil 1 has been known to make your engine noisier.
Can't beat a synthetic oil change for 3 bucks.
