I put the Thermal Stars low e's in my house about two years ago. Came home today and the lower sash on the bay window had a huge crack in it, I'm guessing my son+football or something similiar. Called Pella up for a replacement and they said they'll ship one out free to me, whoo hoo....now that's customer service.

I'd say 90% goes to father-in-law, kid averages 10%......either way I'm paying for it.

Buddy had an 8060 designer series (integrated blinds) sliding door that wasn't sealed up properly at the factory. They sent a rep out who confirmed it and shipped him a new unit, no questions. Instead of tearing out the original (he built the house) he tore the door apart and recaulked it. He has yet to use the other door & this was 15yrs ago.
On one of my jobs they shipped one wrong size (designer series) window which they corrected without any questions or hassle by shipping me the correct one. They told me to keep the incorrect one which I left with the homeowner, as he wanted to use it else where.
They have great customer service.
