Anyone have PDF manual for late 80s LJ-70 ? Specificly...looking for pics / info for the transmission shifter..of course all would be great...
My shifter is acting very strange..when shifting into 3rd or 5th ( I think would do same in all gears...more noticeable because of the angle) the shifter will swing out / rotate toward the passengers side if not held and directed into gear.
If your not understanding..I can have the truck in gear and swing the shifter counter clockwise as if there is nothing keeping it in the vertical plane
Have not gotten into it...but I know most other cruisers have a slotted ball at the end of the shifting lever...that would not allow the lever to rotate...so..??..
