Can you post a closeup pic of your 45's front spring hangers? Looks interesting. What axles are you using? Looks out boarded. Nice rigs
Thanks. It's running a D60 up front and 14bolt rear, both Detroit locked with RCV shafts up front, full hydraulic steering and 4.56 gearing which pairs well with the NP465 and doubler transfer. Shocks are 4/5" lift Old Man Emu Y61 Patrol shocks.

I'll get you some pictures but basically I used new 70 series Cruiser rear springs full length without overloads and moved the hangers out to match the GM OE spring perches using a 10mm (3/8") iron plate laser cut and bent for structure (and to serve as a winch mount which was then bolted to the frame in all places where there are holes (the frame is a later diesel HJ frame chosen for it's strength over the FJ frames).

The idea is almost nothing is specifically bought or made unless it comes from the scrap/parts pile.

Found some old pictures on my phone of the front integrated mount. It goes under the frame rails and wraps around it -

Man I didn’t even know about stouts. I’m guessing they are hard to find?
Not if you know where to look. There are usually a few for sale in the U.S. on any day. I would recommend joining a Stout group and asking around.

Does it still apply if i have no patina left finished painting the whole thing today.

My 1967 Yosemite Yellow 1 owner for the first 50 years still has the original tool kit, owners manual, and service booklet. Just finished revitalizing the old girl as it’d been a long time since she’d been on the road.
