Password restrictions

Why is this forum administration so concerned about password preferences? This is a forum not banking online or streaming services. If people are dumb enough to keep personal information on a forum that's there business when compromised...why are admins so involved? Too much time on their hands...funny how they locked the thread down knowing folks would complain about it.

Weird, it's open to replies....and has always been that way.

From AUGUST 2. If you JUST reset, then it clearly hasn't been an issue for you for 5 months. If it's an issue now, the internet is a big open place to explore.

You guys restricted what sequence of letters and numbers can be used to create a new password. The question is why? This is a forum not an effing banking site or anything personal for members. Seemed like a pretty simple request...

I haven't been on the forum in awhile and my password no longer worked because of the new criteria.
