Hey guys, I changed my wipers and now there’s this gap where it the right wiper stops. Not sure why— if I put the wipers on high it goes all the way past the stopping point so I don’t think the arm is jammed. Any way to fix this? Thanks!

Does it do so when the windshield is wet? Most likely just friction with the windshield panel using up all the slack in the linkage and bushings.

Mine is about the same. I tried repositioning it on the axle but the next slot was placing it in a worse position so I let it be.

Mine is the same and has always been like that. It looks normal.

Hmmm my 200 was lower and resting on the windshield wiper warming elements. I don’t recall ever having a gap like that. Here are the best pic I have.

Maybe the linkage has shifted or something. On my next slot the wiper is hitting the cowl. I have not tried to reposition the linkage assembly, just the wiper arm on the axle.

I recently changed wipers too and have the same gap. It was already there with the old wipers when I bought the car though, so I assumed it was normal.

For me the gap stayed the same with old OEM wipers, brand new OEM, and Valeo., with and whitout rain treatment.
