Afternoon Mudders.
I wanted to put up a PSA on how I was able to return my door lock to working order.
I have had a 2000 LX470 in the family since 2004 (92k) and she’s been dead solid reliable (248.4k today)
I lent it out to a family member in need in 2018/9 and got it back last year at which point the key would not turn the passenger door lock.
Fast forward to today when I tried 3-in-One Dry Lock Lube.
Two quick blasts in the lock, followed by waiting a few seconds and voila!
I then lubed the drivers and ignition locks. Both operate much smoother.
It’s pricey at $6.47 for a small 2.5 ounce mini can but WELL worth it!
AMZN has it a few cents cheaper as of this posting as well.
