Cross posted in 60 section as well.
After much discussion, reading, and watching every video I can find, I'm doing it (help will be provided with the lifting seeing as 82lbs is just about 2/3rds of me). I can not simply toss a fat remflex on after seeing what I see now, I have kicked myself enough for turning a blind eye before. A local friend has tools I'll need to remove the springs and lap the valves.. if I don't get my panties in too much of a wad.
I have gotten three quotes on resurfacing. I know for a fact the manifold side is warped from center to right below the rear heater connection.
Anyhow, I got really lucky back when I did my manifolds and found someone with extra gaskets. ANY chance any of you have or know someone with any extra.... any price lower than TPD to save me a few bucks? I'll throw it out there... want something rebuilt I've done already, send it my way and I'll exchange labor for parts.

Valve Seals (TPD $8.81 EA)
Manifold Gasket (I do have a remflex but understandably if I get resurfaced I won't need it) (TPD now showing $35.09)
