I would do a search but I'm not real sure what to search for so I am putting my faith into the wise ones of mud. I have a 89 fj62 that I was going to sell, then keep then sell again until I finally decide to keep it with hopes of making it a family weekend Expedition Vehicle. Now by Expedition I don't mean I'll be tackling the sands of the Sahara but I do plan on overcoming the gravel roads of North Ga and surrounding areas in the National Forest where I spend alot of time on my adventure bike. So I plan on attempting to do as much work to the vehicle as I can to not only save money but to also help me become familiar with it so I can hopefully fix something "if" or when it tears up. Really it doens't need a whole lot, atleast for now but it does need gaskets around the lights, windows, etc... My question for you guys is where would I find a parts diagram/list so that I can look at it and say, I need (correct part number/name) versus me stuttering over the phone trying to describe something to someone 2,000 miles away. I would really appreciate any help or guidance you guys can send me. I will be ordering a FSM shortly, is there more than one for the 89 fj62?

I would download the EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog). If you do a search for EPC in the forums you will find threads on how to get it and how to use it. The version floating around out there is Euro/Jap spec but lots of the stuff works for N/A cruisers.

It has proved invaluable when dealing with the parts people.

Got to sor.com and look at the online catalog. They have online diagrams that are pretty helpful to find what you need. If you call them, they seem to be very helpful too.
