Hello

I am trying to help out my brother sort out parts for his LC 100.
I have an FJ cruiser.

His LC 100 is a bit strange: 1999 model but with the hydraulic suspension ( accumulators).

He has 200 k Km on it.

Seems the steering box needs replacement as it s starting to squeak as well as two front shocks and trans shaft rubber joints.

Does Toyota uses same parts on all land cruiser 100 s all over the world )
Is US spec different than GCC spec in parts ?

Here is the vin#:
JT711WJA006000740

Is this a US or GCC spec ?

Any schematic with parts # ?

I ll be buying the parts from Saudi Arabia and taking them with so need to make sure they fit 100%.

Jay:

That is not a US VIN. It is a "general countries" VIN.

Parts are very similar on 100 series trucks worldwide with different "variations on a theme" so to speak.

So you are looking for front shocks, front CV shafts, and the rack and pinion I assume?

Front shafts: 43430-60040 x2 ( I would do your inner diff seals at the same time: 90311-47012 and 90311-47013)

Rack and Pinion: 44250-60050

Front Shocks: 48510-69126 (X2)

Thanks a lot Beno.

Are the front shocks that go with the hydraulic air suspension same as regular shocks ?

By rack and pinion you mean steering box ?
Any link to LC 100 part numbers ?

Thanks

Jay

Yes, the part numbers above are for the front AHC system.

Yes, on an IFS front end, the steering gear box is replaced with a rack and pinion set up.

I do not personally have a link to 100 series part numbers beyond the ones I have in front of me at work.

:)

Hi Beno

What s the price on the rack and pinion you have ?

Is this normal to wear out at 220 k km ?
