Gents,

I've got a list going of all the stuff folks have asked me to bring up to the workday. In an effort to make sure I don't forget anything I figured I'd better put a list up to double check that I have everything. Speak up if I've forgotten something...

Warren:

- 2 driveshaft bolts and nuts
- steering stabilizer bracket
- gasket under windshield
- brake booster
- complete seat bracket set with seats

Marty (phishtaco):

- pair of seat bottoms

***Marty, does that old F motor still need a home? Looks like I'm driving at least the pickup if not the van so I'll have room for it if it needs to disappear. Let me know...***

Marty2:

- pair of seats

***Marty, need to know if you want stock FJ40 seats or Mazda RX7 seats. Also need a delivery address if you're not making the workday. Thanks!***

82Trekker:

- brake/clutch pedal assembly
- gas pedal
- hood (pending)

Beno:

- technical assistance - might be hard to find but if I run across some I'll bring it along... :D

Have I forgotten anything?

Nick

I'll pick up the 12 pack of diet coke ;)

Anyone have an extra disc brake wheel they wanna sell cheap? I accidently bought some new tires for my 40, but can't decide what wheels I wanna run.

Looks good to me, I also have a 12 pack of Diet Pepsi coming and some brats for the man.

Anyone have a three speed trans hump for a 40??

Does anyone need a front heater for a 40? I have one, not run but Im sure it works. Also have a heater blower housing. and some other odds and ends I will bring. Its not junk, well to me anyway but you guys have seen how I operate.

Warren, bring the heater stuff...if it's anything like what Karl has in his 40 I'll take it.

Also, anyone have a FJ40 Tailgate?

How big are the tires? I have a set of 5 15x8 white spoke wheels that came on a '77 FJ40 I am looking to sell...

Warren,

Not sure I understand why the front heater would not "work"? It is just a housing the fan blows air through. The only worries center around does the core leak/is it clogged (inside or out) and does the defrost flapper move (and is it there in the first place).

If your heater is truely busted then, yes, I have a heater or two for sale. Bring $40 and you can take one home with you...

I got sucked into some Q78s , 5 of them.....
I know people have ran them on stock hubcap wheels. I can't decide if I wanna run those or those with 1.25" or so spacers or my 15x8 wheels with 2" BS

damnyou jim......So you vote for my Steel wheel I currently own

Sorry I need clarification, The front heater I have is a spare. Im sure it works fine, I have just never used it. I think it came from a 68 40 that I first bought, I drove that truck from the trailer into the garage and that was it. No leaks that I know of, Ive just been moving it from place to place.

I have another heater that is cleaned, thats going in the truck after rhinoliner.

I have Nicks old set of Q 78s. They are on FJ 60 wheels. They are heavy,

Side note I will be late to the meeting on Saturday, I have to meet with the accountant. but I got the map.

Nope, dont need a heater, or the steering stabilizer part, I found the part in the spare heater! Imagine why I couldnt find it.

I do need some good instructions on valve adjustments, and a 2f valve cover gasket.

Side note. Does anyone need SEAFOAM? Its on sale here for $3.99 a can. with a 1 penny delivery fee.

Yeah, I read that Jim, I got as far as engine on or off and breaking tools, fingers and thought I would ask someone in the know.

I broke a 4' flourecent bulb inside the entine compartment last night so my luck has been iffy.

I think I'll try the stock FJ seats...keeping it real, yo.

If 82Trekker can oblige...I could pick them up at his shop sometime this week or even by next weekend if he doesn't mind holding onto them for a few days. 82Trekker, would this be OK?? Would you be around sometime during that time for me to get them if so?

By the way, wouldn't have a rear spare tire carrier that would fit my 72, would you? I don't need the whole swing out piece, just the part the tire actually bolts to (which in turn bolts to the swingout part).
