Parting out a 1987 FJ60 - Interior and Exterior parts only

I am parting out my parts truck. At this time, I am only pulling interior and exterior parts at this time. Once I get all the interior out, I will pull the glass. I will post when we get to that.

The only exception is if you are local and want to 'pick'n'pull', you are welcome to come over and we can discuss parts.

For shipping purposes, I am in Towson, MD - 21286.

I have basically the entire interior and exterior of a Red/Grey 1987 FJ60. The dash and headliner are in good shape. The front seats are beat, the rear seat pieces are actually pretty good. The front seats come with equally beat SOR covers.

NOTE - The interior in this truck matches the color patterns of a FJ-62 and the headliner is soft fabric like an FJ-62. Even the door panels match that of an FJ-62. The dash is a slightly darker grey than earlier 60's. You cannot tell until you try to swap a part in.

Carpet is not for sale. Neither are the vinyl hump things.

I also have a set up tired and beat up front seats for an FJ-60 that are missing the cardboard panel that goes in the back - you cannot see it they just seem loose. These are $30 plus shipping.

Too many parts to put prices on. I have to put some prices, I think, so the seats out of the truck are $75 each. The glove compartment door is pretty much perfect - so $25. The bezel that surrounds the instrument cluster and ashtray is $20. Anything else you need, ask and make offer.

I will pull parts and ship within a week or so. I can email pics of pretty much anything.

Door glass is cheaply tinted, but other than that fine. The dash pad is sun cracked.

I will take and send you a photos tonight. One of the side orange and whites is cracked at a mounting point (not visible installed) and one is not. But I do not remember which is the damaged one. I will let you know this evening.

I just got your PM. I have never tried to pull the stock antenna up, as this has never been a driver for me. I will give it a tug when I get home.

So I pulled it and lo and behold it is a power antenna. I am not sure how it is wired up. It looks stock, like on from an FJ62. So, I do not have a stock antenna. I am not sure if it works or not, I am going to power up the truck tomorrow or Wednesday and find out.

Thanks Gaylon; sounds like the dash pad wont be an upgrade for me. My glass had a cheap tint job as well, and I didnt realize how spotted/cloudy my glass was until I got the tint off. Little nervous about paying shipping on glass that may not be any better.

Is the PS gearbox available? How many miles were on the truck?

rusty, nasty, you do not want it. I have yet to see an original one in decent shape. I went with a stainless steel one a few years ago in my truck and it looks as good as it did on day one. I think it was only $70. Anyhow, sorry, not worth pulling out.

It will be a few weeks until I get to this type of part. I will put you first in line. I only drove the truck once, for about 40 miles, but the steering was perfectly acceptable. The truck has about 130K miles, if I remember correctly.

I will be firing it up this weekend to run compression so I can start selling engine parts. Have to go out of town for a couple weeks starting next week, so it will be after the fourth before I start pulling parts again.

I will get through all PMs today.
