Dominating performance
i'll watch the NFL, but I don't have a favorite team. College football is more focused on the fundamentals of the game, rather than the personas, hype, shiny tights, and endzone dances. When Cam Newton was at Auburn, he was a self absorbed, pompous guy wanting the spotlight on him, not the team, and x10 worse now that he's with the Panthers. Superman? Really? Looking past that, yes, the Panthers have the most balanced team in the NFL and Cam is a darn good QB. The Panthers were a joke and had no business in the '04 Superbowl, but they earned the respect and nearly beat NE, so I'm glad they're going this year. I like the Panthers, but have to pull for Manning.

I get it, some still hate him for his college days. Being in the spotlight isn't for everyone. He's young and we are still a young team. He has gotten better (if you ask me) and will continue to. A little showboating last night, sure. Deserved? I think so. Superman, yep as demonstrated last night to get a touchdown! Defense and offense were both so on point, should be a good game against Denver.
Agree with you on 04, those were tough times for us so this defiantly feels good for those that have stuck with the panthers. Looking forward to cheer them on against Denver!
Im sorry, it might be my juvenile humor... but whomever came up with the Keep Pounding slogan either needs to be fired or given a promotion, i havent figured out which yet.

I'm happy for the panthers.... they have been my #2 team since I moved to Charlotte.
I've always loved what Cam does for people off of the field and loved his ability on the field.
Sadly his immaturity and bad decision making has hindered the panthers quite a bit in his first 4 years with them. He has now matured and isn't taking as many chances and using his head. It is scary how good he can be when he is thinking about winning and not about the big plays or himself trying to run every time.
I agree that him celebrating like its 1999 every first down is dumb but his other celebrating is well founded this year and I don't have a problem at all with it since he can back it up.
I hope they pound the crap out of the Broncos next week.
