I will be going up with a few friends. This year we are going to go up wednesday night and are contemplating doing a couple of dual sport rides into the Saline Valley area on Thursday and Friday. Also planning a few runs on the south side of the Panamints.

We typically use the PVD main site as our base camp and do our own runs from there.

Most of beach and toys will be arriving on Thurday I beleive. We will have a mix of vehicles so will likely do a mix of organized runs and our own. I have never been and will be thnt camping other will be in RVs, If anyone is interested maybe we could group up as a toyota group.

I have not registerd yet but will in the next few weeks, not sure of the others in the group.

I will be in white FZJ80 towing a pop up tent trailer on its maiden voyage (if I can get my misc. repairs, hitch and wiring completed). I am still planning on going up thursday night.

I registered last night and hope the BBQ is going to be good. Have any of you been, and do you recommend eating at the cook shack for breakfast and dinner? From what I've read they will be serving food at a price for every meal except lunch. Sure would be nice to pay a few $ and not have to cook and clean up.

Yes- The BBQ is good and they always have served quality food at reasonable prices in the past. Hopefully the same outfit will be onhand this time.

Much smaller group

Well it turns out it will just be myself going from Beach and toys. Everyone else had other things come up, so I will keep my eye out for other toyotas in the sea of jeeps.
