Yep. I've been here over 20 years so, I guess I like it too. :)
The only thing I miss about Austin is seeing all my old friends.
Other than that, can't stand it anymore.
Yes, I've become that grumpy old guy scaring kids offa mah lawn ... but man, has it changed.
Anyway, so looking forward to my 60s arrival so I can add to the "What did you do with your 60" thread with some pics tooling around Südbayern. :)

My family is from the Berchtesgaden area, the Kornigsee is quite magnificent.

I'm in Erlangen frequently and visit the Fränkische Schweiz. Great area with amazing beer/trails etc. Add to that the beer purity law came into effect earlier than you Munchen boys, so the beer is better :).

I've read the "Fränkisches Reinheitsgebot". To me it seems more of a suggestion and not an edict. Also, I don't recall Franconia celebrating their 500 year anniversary of their 'purity' law? There are some good beers in the area but I'll stack my Augustiner as the most drinkable beer in the world against all comers. :)
 
It was recommended by several friends/family members that I loose the “dealer installed” brushguard. Seems I was the only one that liked it. I can’t disagree that the best part of a 60 is the front end. Had a new front Bumper I picked up from CB in Austin a few years ago. This truck deserves it.

And I’ve started the submission part with BAT. They want more pics for their consideration. I’ll snap a few manana and send them their way. Ian and I are looking to meet tomorrow afternoon so he can put the professional touch on a few Hundy pics.

Ma man Ian knows what the fu*k he’s doing. I was shooting a couple pics with my iPhone and he’s like “give me that phone” and he kicks out some sweet shots. See attached. Can’t wait to see how his work looks through his professional camera.

Just got done editing pics for Jimbo. Fired up, I think they turned out great. Can't recall exactly how many times I muttered, "F*** what a nice truck" as I both shot and edited. SEXXXY
