shot one more coat of high build primer this am, block sanded with 500 sand paper wiped down everything with paint prep and masked it off... shot 2 coats of acrylic enamel with a urethane hardener then a 3rd coat of the same paint with 30% clear added.... it flashed off quicker than I like but it's over 90 here and I did not have any retarder... but it looks pretty good I'll color sand with 800 - 1000 then 1500 and then buff once the paint cures... about the time I unmasked it my radiator showed up fed-ex... so I had to install it...and finish up the engine wiring and install the air box (some of the wires run across and over the radiator) filled up the coolant installed the charged battery (that came with it and had been sitting a year) and she fired up the first time... sounds perfect no smoke except from all the sealants and the penetrating oils that were still in the exhaust nuts... everything seemed to work as it should... I have a check engine light on but I will scan that tomorrow guessing o2 sensors (I ordered the wrong ones) still have to paint the bumpers and fix a few rock chips and prep paint and mask the passenger side molding ... reinstall some interior panels that I removed to get access to fix a few dents... detail it... but It drove nice... no clunks or whines... I do also have to pull a vacuum on the ac and recharge it... FUN FOR ME

Nice Looking Black!!!

thanks :) if there is any color that someone who doesn't know crap about painting can paint it is black... a lot more prep... but black is black it always seem to match up pretty well and is easy to touch up... can't wait to get the rims and tires I picked up bolted on and get it detailed out... still have a couple days work... I'm just glad it fired up and went down the road... have to be thankful for small things in my world :)
