Paint wheel spacers?

I have Spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers and they are great but I hate seeing their blue color every time I walk up to the rig. Has anyone painted their spa ers? If so, what did you use and has it held up?

I haven't, but maybe google painting anodized aluminum to find techniques?
