I bought a 78FJ40 that was in worse shape than i thought. Don't realy want to put the money in to it for a resto job as I had intended on. After a good fuel tank cleaning, blowing the fuel lines out, fuel pump, plugs and wires and a few adjustments she runs and drives like new. Everything is there and everything works. The body tub has seen better days!!! SO now the question is everyones thoughts on line-X type products. I am thinking about removing the rust, weld in some new metal and line-x the whole FJ inside and out and use as a toy / hunting truck. What are the pro's and con's??

What say ya'll:confused:

I've had really really good luck with the farm implement paint from TSC..

Hey Dave-T, have you used Rust Bullet before? What were your results?

Anyone else used it and can offer feedback on how it compares to the other standard use stuff (POR-15, etc.).

I have used it and in my opinion it turned out great. Do a search here and you will find a lot of info on it.

Cool, Rust Bullet is a good product. Wear a good respirator when you spray.
