paint for center console (1 Viewer)

I want to repaint the center console on my 81. It is an olive green color the same color as the ashtray so I assume it is original. Does anyone know what color that is and if so where do you find it? Thanks.

I use a paint from CarQuest auto parts available in a spray. It is specially made for plastics and vinyl. Even though the factory is an off green I use a gray color name graphite. Hope that helps...

Thanks, I was hoping to stay stock but if I cannot find the right color I am considering gray. Is the paint color close to the toyota gray?

Could always go to an auto paint supplier and have them scan it. They have the scanner that can match very well if there is some color left. May have to buy at least a pint though or they may be able to do a spray can...

My local paint shop charges me $60-$80 for six (minimun order) cans. I have a recipe for the "Pewter" paint and when I need more, I just give them the numbers. I've also had cans made up for other exterior Landcruiser colors.

Is it the pewter gray for thr glove box door and center consol? I got a can from JToutfiters and it's real close to the original color.
