So, I"ve decided on a look for the truck, and that look includes a flat black paint job.
I don't want to do just black primer and leave it uncoated.
I tried rattle can black primer, and then some clear coat, and it shines up too much.
I've found reference to paint "flateners" that reduce the gloss. I can't find any mention as to where to buy such a thing. Found some special flat paint, but really don't want to mess with that type of paint.
Hot Rod Flatz
I'd like to do duplicolor paint shop laquere black, and clear coat w/ a flatening agent because that paint is at least real automotive paint (not rustolem rolled on), and it's simple (no mixing), and it doesn't require me to have a downdraft booth and possitive air resperator and everything else.
