Clutchee
I'm fun sized!
Folks I'm painting my 36' gooseneck, yesterday I wire wheeled the trailer, then I used Valspar Oil based primer using a roller to apply it. I did use the small can of hardener with the gallon of primer.
Temp yesterday was only 40 degree's, today the sun is out but the paint is still slightly tacky. I know warmer temps would help but I'm under a time crunch to get it painted.
Question I have is should I let it cure more before putting the black top coat on or will that help adding the black paint making it hold heat in ( heat in 40 deg days)??
Plan as of now is not to put anything on the deck for at least 3 weeks so I would assume this would give more cure time....
Feedback would be great.
