Paint code?

I have a round brass tag screwed to the lower passenger-side corner of my 1966 FJ40L Serial Tag, which I assume is a paint code tag??? If that is what it is, what color does the "T-66" that is stamped on it represent?

NO paint code tags on early Toyota LC,

Every Toyota imported in the USA in 1966 came with the same T-66 brass tag.
