paddle shifters? is this a dealership install option?

Hello shopping for a 200 series and came across an LX with paddle shifters; the dealership that does not have one with these is clueless. Is this a dealership install option or is it an actual option. I know its kind of a gimmick because these are not sports cars but just thought t was interesting. Any help would be appreciated. Lexus must be building them this way... a dealer installed option such as this sounds quite unlikely.

These paddles can be added to just about any Toyota with sport shift. I installed a complete steering wheel w/ paddles in my Tundra a few years back, and I have one for the 200... but that project, like many others, has yet to be completed.

thanks for the reply; I'm really starting to dislike these lexus salesman. He was like "no they don't offer those in the LX" blah blah. then when I told him there is one available he is like its an aftermarket install. Just so smug!
