So I picked up a Wireless Inspection Monitor for my father to find his "pets".

I was thinking how easy it would be to use while driving sans doors to look under the rig to see what's hanging me up. EZ to fashion a holster out of PVC to put on the door hinges.
It's wireless so the monitor could remain on the dash, in your other hand etc.

They are also waterproof and could be used to look into the radiator (once cooled of course). Down the frame rails etc.

Picked mine up for about $80 because they go on sale often and I collect the 20% discount coupons.

Anyone else have any experiences with these monitors?

Nope, but it definitely looks to have its advantages. Right off the top of my head, I could use that to try and find an oil leak on my daughters 4 runner....:hmm:
Is there a LIGHT on the end of it?
Interesting....

Yes it does have an adjustable LED light source on the end. And a little clip that you can put a magnet attachment, mirror and something else that I should be able to remember.

Those things are useful when working in tight places. When I worked at Ford, a tech had a bling bling Snap On version of that. I watched him snake it into the engine and watch the valves move up and down while rotating the cam.

I remember that last attachment is a little hook to use to grab wires and such.
