Hey all, I'm in Portland and looking to get an FJ 40 - anyone local looking to sell?

Looking mainly for a 76-80, built well to handle mountains and also be a daily driver.

On craigslist there is one out in silverton I work with the guy selling it and its pretty nice and will go anywhere. He pulled my v8 powered sixty up some pretty nasty terrain when my starter went out. SOA 35" almost new bfg km2's, high steer, very nice rig straight body good paint $5700, You won't find a better one for less from what I've been seeing. Its a 69 so a bit older than what you were looking at but no DEQ. Good luck and heres the link if you are interested

Thanks man - I've located one that I'm taking a serious look at - its a 71 thats been completely redone. Do you know of any good trails out this way? ( I'm in portland)

'75 FJ40 for sale

I have a '75 FJ40 for sale in the Seattle area. Chevy 350 installed 10/2007, about 4000 miles ago. I have paperwork for the engine. 4" lift, BFG 35's, front disc brakes, power steering, complete hard top with all glass in good condition. Currently not running. I am near positive it is the aftermarket ignition system but I am out of energy and knowledge. Body is not horrible but not great either. Previous owner did all of the work to it so I don't know a ton about it. I drove it daily for about six months, then took it wheeling 5 or six times a year since. I am a pretty motivated seller, I just want it gone, make me an offer. I will be out of town from Friday the 30th through Saturday the 8th of May so I will not be able to reply to emails during that time. I can send pics of anything on request.
