  1. 40 Series
OK boys and girls here we have some brand-new parts in their (mostly) unopened boxes. One of the guys in our club thought about regearing and locking his 40 but had a change in plans so these are available. Selling two sets of 4.88 gears (current price $268 each) and two Sierra gear installation kits current price $154 each. That comes to $844 in today's prices, we'd like to get $575 for the whole shebang. Will throw in a pair of rear axle seals too! Buyer pays shipping. These were purchased from Cruiser Outfitters for a 74 FJ40 and according to Kurt at CO Here's what they'll fit:
That is a great deal and will fit most 4x, 5x, 6x and early 7x. Half of it would work for the rear of the 9x or a later 7x.
So if you're in the market for new gears this might be a great deal for you. I can tell you my FJ40 with 35" tires and 4.88 is taching right around 3000RPM at 60MPH. Best to email me shmukter@pa.metrocast.net
