My dash lights went hog wild, and when I pulled the codes I got the following dreaded results:
P0418
P2445
C1201
The codes were listed as either confirmed, current, pending, or history which makes me feel pretty uneasy about the situation. The truck was just in for a timing belt and water pump service, is there a possibility a hose came loose or wasn't reconnected? I'll be calling the shop first thing tomorrow to see if any of this could be related.
Since that service was done a week, I've only done a very small amount of driving. Less than 50 miles easily.
Does the hewitt-tech bypass help with these codes? That seems like a good solution but my reading so far (including the FAQ linked thread) hasn't been clear on if it helps with this specific set of codes. Appreciate any info!
Additional reading on the hewitt-tech site does cover these specific codes so it seems like that may be an option. Yikes!
