so I was going through car wash the other day and my CE light along with normal others came on. I ran codes today and it came up as p0340 cam position sensor. I do some digging and come to find out when I was digging around under the hood checking timing belt on driver side I may have moved some wires (cps wires) close or into the serp belt. Question is how much of a PITA is it to change out and how necessary it is to change at the moment. The truck runs great still... Just throwing the code at me.

You may have dislodged the cps under the timing belt cover or unplugged the sensor connector. Retrace your steps and recheck the connector and positioning. It's a bit of a pain to completely R&R the sensor, so hopefully you don't have to do that. There are good descriptions of removing the LH timing belt cover (with photos) in the forum FAQs.
