Got this code coming from vacation at the Beach.
I note the previous owner replaced the Bank 1 Sensor 1 13,000 miles ago and the paperwork states the mechanic had trouble removing that sensor and had to rethread the pipe.

Questions:
- any advice on how to replace - say use Liquid Wrench? I have an O2 socket tool.
- where is location of O2 sensor Bank 2 Sensor 1?
- best place to purchase this sensor? I see that the previous owner paid $237 and 4 hours labor to replace.
- any advice?

I just cleared the fault for now.

Bank 2 is passenger side. Sensor 1 is just above the top catalytic converter. You can crawl under the truck, take down the plastic splash pan and look behind the front wheel. Should be pretty simple to replace. You will want to use the O2 socket for the front one. The sensor #2 is attached with screws.

If it doesn't want to turn, saturate with PB Blaster for a day or two.

I cleared the Check Engine light yesterday. Drove it today and the Check Engine light remained off.
Hmmm.
