Ozone Generator / Air Purifier

Anyone in the group ever use or have an Ozone generator? I have a musty smell in the cruiser after many trips and a few leaks and am interested if anyone has used one or can loan me one. If not I may just pull the trigger and get one from AMAZON to try.

You might go on a search under the carpets for mold which often causes that odor and can be hazardous... I once found the underside of my floor mats covered in mildew that was kinda gross, but relatively easily cleaned off the rubberized backing. Even after cleaning they smelled so I left them out in the sun for a week or two and sprayed them with vinegar, plus washed them off with clorox. Good luck.

I tried Amazon a few weeks back and they won't ship to California, thanks CARB Was going to change the shipping address to our Colorado place and see if it works. However, I haven't tried yet as I'd like to pin down the dates we're going to be there first.

Another place to try may be ebay.

Looks like they are only banned in California, didn't know. People seem to swear by them for removing car odors when researched.

I didn't as well until I starred looking.

Our Sienna will get that same funk with all the kids stuff in it, even after cleaning thoroughly.

They do work well. Years ago a friend worked at an independent that had one. I was pretty amazing, like getting the cigarette smell out amazing.

CARB is saving us from our own stupidity They think people are using them for home air purifiers, maybe vendors should start selling them as a new type of marijuana (sorry that's not p.c. anymore) cannabis use device.
