9.22.13

Going to run some trail, probably start near Oark/Redding and work west till 4 or 5pm. Going to try and camp the 21st after work at redding, though not looking that good.

Id say 50%ish trail, 30% dirt road (especially in the afternoon), and 20% highway after we leave.

Warnings - trail probably overgrown, pretty technical ledges are present on 2nd half of day. Will be a few highway miles mixed in as well.

Also includes trail where I saw the biggest bear I've seen in the wild.

Meeting @ Redding Campground entrance right off of the highway @ 8:30am.

Just to reiterate, it'll be dusty and the overgrowth will pinstripe like crazy.

Also, buddy in a rubicon and xj will be attending. Kids welcome. Pack a lunch and some snacks. Bring lots of water.

Meeting at Redding Recreation Area 8:30 AM on Sunday, 9.22.13

- Don't go into the campground (Techincally a ~3$ entry fee for "day use")
- Park in the driveway, its super long. Look for a Green 4dr JK, Black Taco, pristine FJ40, White FJC, or Yellow FJC These are the rigs of the confirmed (or condemned?!)
- The closest fuel is Turner Bend or Oark General Store.
- Mileage wise, I'm thinking the trail ride should be no more than 50 miles at this point. I have the general idea and know all but one trail. There will be several "early" out options should you decide to bail.
