I was not keen on mounting the Linx Display on the provided mount and gimble.
Looks super sturdy and adjustable but pretty gigantic.
Some guys have mounted it up in the sunglass holder like the switch pro
But the LINX has real time data so I prefer to put it in my line of sight

Things you need (Links are below)

Magnetic phone mount + Gooseneck ball mount
Screw thru magnets
Screws
Acrylic disc
Drill and tap

So I ordered the acrylic discs on ebay
2" diameter 1/4" thick (but could have probably been fine with 1/8")

Take apart the ARB gimble mount by removing the screws holding the magnets
Use the ARB metal disc to template where to drill the holes.
***it is not a symmetrical octagon distribution***
It is a more like 2 rectangles so use the metal disc as a template and not scribe a perfect octagon like I did

Then drill and tap the holes to match the screws you bought
I went to ACE Hardware and got countersunk hex screws
I decided to use all 8 magnets instead of the 4 ARB used. I figured it would be stronger.
You do have to leave the screws a little loose and then snap in the display to allow the magnets to align so you can get it just right and then tighten all the screws.
If just one magnet is off it won't snap on all the way. Probably the reason ARB used 4 but I got it so that it fits perfectly every time.

Take apart the Wixgear magnetic holder. Just pry the rubber cover off and working from back take the screw off holding the metal disc down.
You only need the plastic round base.
I did end up sanding down the raised ridges so my acrylic disc wound sit flush...but it works fine if you don't
Then drill a central hole in the acrylic disc
Then use the screw to attach the disc to to plastic mount. I ended up using epoxy to really bond the 2 pieces but you don't have to.

Mounting to the dash
1) Previously I had tried a phone mount from Aliexpress. It is custom contoured to fit perfectly over the 200 series Land Cruiser A/C Vent. It comes with a ball that should be compatible with the custom mount you just made. The LINX display will be sticking straight out a little. I never tested it on rough roads but I'm sure it would be fine but it was sticking straight out a bit so I wanted something else. Also mounted here it would cover about 1/4" of the OEM display. (See post below for pictures)

2) You can stick the goose neck mount that comes with the Wixgear set onto the dash. I did have to file off the small plastic hook it has at the base that is a clip for the charging wire. I actually stuck it to the above mentioned Aliexpress cover. Just so I don't risk permanently discoloring the dash or leaving adhesive markings.

Just make sure before you stick it you take into account how far forward you need the ball so that the LINX has enough clearance from the dash so it sticks completely to the magnets

Nice job! Great creative solution.

I have seat jackers from @DesertDoesIt on my 100 series (these little guys) and it makes a world of difference. When I get into my 200, I groan and quickly get knee and back pain.

Has anyone found a similar solution for the 200? Or is @DesertDoesIt working on a product for the 200?

Thanks for sharing your install. I too have a Linx system that I’ve been piecing together and have yet to install it because I am not sure exactly where I want to mount the display unit. I do not want to drill into my a-pillar to install the 200-specific ARB mount; and agreed on the sunglass holder not being a desirable location for a unit like the Linx - it’s more than switch panel.

I like what you did, but I’m curious how you routed your charging/data cable in this location?
