Overriding alarm on 96 runner, no FOB (1 Viewer)

I disconnected the battery on a 96 4runner after the AC compressor change and it seems to rest the computer. truck wont start and alarm goes off every so often. where is the computer reset. trucks owner is out of town so i do not have access to the remote and i can't start truck to recharge with refrigerant.

Mine has a black reset button on the kick panel near your left foot.

I reset mine by turning key in ignition to the on position. Then press the black button in by the kick panel and hold it down while at the same time turning the key to off and then all the way over to crank.

You may have to switch back and forth from on to off a couple times with kick panel button pressed before you try to crank.
