Someone mentioned Vermont Overland; although they have closed Peter Vollers will be at the Overland Rally and Workshop providing some training and seminar presentations. He is very knowledgeable of the Vermont area and trail access issues. He'll be giving a seminar on how to navigate the trails roads and regulations of Vermont.
Overland Experts will be on hand with a couple of their trainers to focus on different levels of driving skills as well as vehicle recovery with some help from WARN and MasterPull.
Ben Edmonson from Equipt, who is also a professional outdoor photographer, will be on hand for some photography training.
Remote Medical International will be coving wilderness medical training with a focus on vehicle based travel.
They will also be restoring a 1964 Land Rover Series IIA on-site. Several Rover suppliers and mechanics will be participating. The truck was driven into the barn and just needs some TLC, and maybe a new frame!, to get back into shape. They will have it rolling by the end of the event!
The Vermont Overland Rally and Workshop will be held at Lilly Farm and we're going to have a great Overland feast including some of the grass-fed beef and offerings from the organic vegetable fields!
Additional details and features continue to develop.
They will keep everyone updated here and on the Overland Rally website, www.overlandrally.com
