A friend on the road has his temp rising due to this hose. Which one is this? Heater hose? He's got a '98 I believe.

Its the hose coming from the firewall.

Most likely the heater hose t-fittings. They are notoriously prone to failure. Part number 87248-60460 (need 2). A hose wont cause temps to rise, but a loss of coolant will...

Yes, heater hose fittings. The T-fitting is likely cracked but could also be the hoses. Upper hose goes towards front heat. Lower hose goes towards rear heat.

It is actually the T-fitting not the hose. Thanks for the help
