I thought it was about time to introduced myself since this place has been instrumental over the past 6 months. I knew nothing about the 100 series when I stumbled upon the forum and have spent countless hours reading in an attempt to learn enough to make an informed purchase.

In June I started looking for an '06 or '07 Land Cruiser without AHC and was really hoping to find one without the wood trim or DVD. In September I found a candidate in Wichita KS. It was an '06, black/tan, no AHC, no wood, no DVD car with 90,000 miles. It's was traded in at a GMC dealer by the lady who originally purchased it in '05. I ended up buying it despite having to travel 850 miles to get it home.

Right now I'm slowly tackling the overdue 90k items. Outside of that, I've had a TPMS sensor replaced and, the item I'm happiest about, had new tires installed today. I decided on the 275/65/18 Michelin M/S2 after considering the Dueler H/T and LTX AT2s. I actually ordered the Dueler H/Ts in the stock size in order to save some money, but after sleeping on the decision, I knew it wasn't what I wanted.

Anyway, here is the car with new shoes. I have 3 young kids that keep me busy, so excuse the craptastic garage photo.

Welcome from another new member! I just recently bought what is basically your twin (but I only had to travel 320 miles)! Only difference is I have the larger rear spoiler, rear DVD and AHC. Great find for sure, I'm really liking the black on these vehicles. Best of luck with the 90k items!

Congrats! I started with the Michelin AT2's, and while I loved the look, I didn't love the road noise so I took them back and swapped with the MS2's using Michelin's 30 Day No Questions Asked Return Policy. Love the MS2's. Truck looks very clean - I thought all the '06-'07 had the plastic upper spoiler?

Thanks spaber

I came across most, if not all of your old posts related to tires. The discussions definitely helped reinforce the decision to go with a 32" and to consider the MS2. I ony have a few miles on them so far, but as of today, I couldn't agree more. The ride is great, hopefully they perform well once the snow starts falling.

Regarding the larger rear spoiler, yes, it was an option.
