I know most owners are not worried about garaging it, but I went out an measured today after hitting an innappropriately low
height warning sign at a mall parking garage yesterday.
As near as I can figure, its close to 77 7/8 inches. to the top of the rack. I laid a straight 2x4 across it to measure from. The good news is it can go in the garage, but doesn't have as much clearance as the 100 series landcruiser, which appears several inches lower with the rack. They are very close in height excluding the factory racks.
Anyone run theirs through a car wash yet? The antenna looks pretty rugged, as those things go, but there is no way to retract it that I can see. ANd it looks like you need a small wrench to remove it.
Yesterday it rained like heck here and I got to test it through some flooding.....no problem. The salesman's Toyota University manual says it has a 27" fording depth.
