Sounds like a flow problem, how is your fan clutch and/or radiator?

how much is it over heating?

the evaporator is in front of the radiator wich when operating, heats up.
a slight increase is tolerable. but there may be debris like mud os bugs inbetween the fins of either the evaporator or rad. do a search on overheating. i just made a thread about it and covered a lot of ground.

nobody knows??i cant find anybody who can tell me anything...and this heat in houston is killing me with not being able to use my a/c

Have you checked the condition of your fan coupling? Get the truck nice and warm then shut it off and try to turn the fan it should be hard to turn, meaning that the coupler is in good shape and doing it's job.

How old is your coolant? thermostat? are your Radiator fins clean and straight?

Well, maybe somebody will dig out their crystal ball and tell you exactly what is wrong....

Follow the above advice, and when you have answers to the questions, then post back and we will go from there. You are the only one here that can test your truck, our help is completely dependent on the info that you give us.

I just did a radiator flush and replaced one of the hoses that looked like it was about to bust. Refilled it with new coolant and looked at the fins on the radiator and its still doing it. Im not sure how old the thermostat is because i just bought the truck a month ago. When i flushed it alot of white stuff came out of it and i can still see some in there.

Replace the thermostat ($10/Less)

Is the white stuff solid or liquid?

No crystal ball here, but I believe I see a radiator in your future.

Did you do any of the earlier mentioned tests? Those guys know what they're talking about.

Idle up circuit ? Isn't there a circuit that raises the idle a bit when the A/C is in use ?

Don't have a manual handy.

Raises the idle to 900-1000 when the magnetic clutch kicks in.

I put a new clutch in the fan and everything is back to normal. And the white stuff in the radiator is a solid.

FYI, red line water wetter is the bomb :D
