Otto & Pete drive to Panama from New York

Hi all ! My dog and I started our trip to the Darien Gap in panama this past Wednesday. My first stop was in Charlotte,NC to pick my friend Abbi up who will ride with me until just before Christmas (she leaves for Africa then). I hope to make it to mainland Mexico from the Baja peninsula by then but that may not be enough time. Thursday night we stopped in Nashville,TN and had a blast ! We listened to some amazing musicians, shared libations with some great people and made new friends. Later that night we found a Walmart and camped out in the rooftop tent for the first time (very comfortable). From Nashville we pressed on to Little Rock,AK and splurged for a motel and a shower and now this morning were on to Oklahoma City ! Route 40 to Los Angeles !
