Orion 4.0 to A440

Anyone know if I can hook an Orion 4.0, 16 spline, up to the A440 in my 62? It seems like it should work and without driveline mods. I recall needing to salvage the input and output shafts from my current stock case. Thanks for your feedback.

IIUC the Orion won't bolt up to the A440 because of how oil seal between the tranny/transfer works. Only options I know of for lower gears is marks gears in a stock case.
