Original FJ62 radio. Is there a code?

I bought a bone stock FJ62 with the original radio/cassette deck in it.
When I turn the radio on it tunes to AM 530 and all I can do is adjust the volume. That's it, no other button works. Is there a code I have to punch in or is the radio toast?

The FJ62s didn't have a security code like the eighties series radios. Sounds like a bad radio. I upgraded my FJ62 to a later radio with the 6 dish CD player and alot have have install aftermarket units. Probably not worth repairing your old unit, just upgrade. FYI the 88' radio was different than the 89/90
