Organization - Misc items

Any of you have good ideas on how to organize misc items you have? I have a few boxes of just misc things such as cabinet handles, odd plumbing tools, odd hardware, Velcro strips etc.

Just cant find a good way to organize it other than just having these collect-all cardboard boxes I have.

Any ideas?

What is the storage area you have?

Shed in the backyard, shelf on the garage, basement, etc.

How much of the stuff do you have?

I use the clear rubbermade tote for the lightweight stuff. They stack great and you can see through them so you know what is there.

For the big stuff, I use pallet racking.

Garage/unfinished basement. I like the clear rubbermade idea!
