SAS 94 4RUNNER ROCKCRAWLER

This vehicle is a beast, it is built to tackle whatever you can throw at it. It’s has a solid axle swap using 9.5” Landcruiser axles along with a well built suspension lift. This has some high dollar parts on it. I was building this to be my “last truck”, in fact, I even permanently registered this things and of course, threw some quality parts at it, unfortunately life throws some curve balls and I’m forced to get rid of it. My loss is your gain. I need something a bit more family oriented and tame. Here’s the mod list...

Engine:
New 2 Row Aluminum Radiator (And Fluid Flush)
New Hayden Transmission Cooler
ARB Safari Snorkel
K&N Air Filter
ISR Delete Mod
New Custom Air Intake
EGR delete
New Trail Gear Silicone Upper and Lower Radiator Hoses
New Battery
New Genuine Toyota Spark Plugs
New Genuine Toyota Spark Plug Wires
New Genuine Toyota Cap and Rotor
Upgraded Exhaust System
Top half of the motor was recently rebuilt in Colorado, including timing belt and headgasket, head has a mild port and polish, the block was untouched.

Suspension & Drivetrain:
SAS with 9.5” LC Axles
ARB Air Lockers in Front & Rear
ARB Air Compressor
4.56 Gears
Selectro Manually Locking Hubs
15x10 Aluminum Wheels
1.5” Wheel Spacers
Toyo Open Country M/T’s with plenty of life (35x13.50R15)
New Leaf Springs Up Front
High Lift Steer Kit
Reinforced Frame and Bumper Supports Up Front
Fabtech Longtravel Shocks
Adjustable Panhard Bar
New Trail Gear Long Travel SS Brake Lines
New Pasengerside Brake Caliper
Recent Brake Fluid Flush
Custom Disc Brake Set-Up in Rear
Smitty Built Front Bumper
Just changed the Diff Fluid and Greased all Zerks!

Interior:
New Sony Xplode Deck (Ipod/MP3 adaptable)
Polk Audio Speakers in Front and Rear
New Autometer Oil Pressure, Coolant Temp and Tranny Temp Gauges
New Black Seat Covers
The entire interior was removed, clean and painted or dyed this summer. The entire interior is black, which was not a factory option.

What I’d do if I were to keep this:
Replace the Windshield
Re-Gear to 5.29’s
Put some sliders on it and hit the hills!

I’d still consider this a “project” car, because you will inevitable run into things that need to be done, or that you want to do. But, it starts every morning, and is great to drive around town for a dd.

The price has been lowered to $6,300...

Couple of questions for you regarding the rig:

Does it have a tcase doubler with gear driven cases and/or a 4.7(or similar)geared tcase(dont see shifters in the pic, but i dont see a front driveshaft either, so those might be old pics?)? What do u mean when you state you used 'landcruiser 9.5" axles' for a solid axle swap? What is the ' ISR Delete mod '? also interested in the 'high lift steer kit'.

Cool rig, i have an 80 for sale. I like ur runner, just seeking clarification on some of the things i didnt understand in ur ad..

Thanks kidglove!

Booger, it has no tcase doubler... it's running 4.56 gears with the stock case. The SAS swap was done before I got it. I'm pretty sure they're 60 axles, which I thought I read were 9.5". I've posted this on some 4runner forums as well, and a lot of those dudes use the Toyota 8" axles. I know that the 9.5's are supposed to be quite a bit more stout (thus the salesman in me coming out in the add) ISR (intake silencer delete) which is really nothing much but deleting the labyrinth of tubes that Toyota put in the intake to quite it down and rerouting vacuum lines. Again, this is termanology that 4runner folks would know. What's your question about the steer kit? Brand? Or it's job? The kit looks to consist of a tie rod, drag link and pitman arm. Looks to be nice (adjustable) stuff, but I'm not sure whose "stuff" it is.

You're 80 looks super fun... unfortunately, if you were inquiring about a trade, I have no cash to put on top of this... and my wife is expecting... and expecting me to get a more "reasonable" vehicle.

Any more questions out there?
